Friday Sketchers ...........

Its the weekend! I hope you all have a good one, I'm off for a bit of craft shopping tomorrow with my husband's auntie and my husband's counsin's wife who are also into card making. We are going to a couple of craft shops I have never visited before so I am very excited!

This card is for this week's sketch over at Friday Sketchers designed by Carol, this was a great sketch for this card that I needed to make for my friend's little boy whoose birthday it is next week and he loves football so hopefully he will love the card.

I don't always enjoy making male cards but I really enjoyed making this one with my image 'Oliver' which is a download from Pollycraft Designs.

Thanks for popping in, please leave a comment if you have time.

Double Challenge Card .........

Hi everyone, I hope your week is going well. This card is for 2 challenges, the first challenge is Papertake Weekly Challenge who have another great sketch this week. I'm not quite sure that I have done this sketch justice as I think that the image is too big but hopefully the end result is not too bad. The second challenge this card is for is Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and this week their challenge is a receipe 1,2,3, 1 image, 2 papers and 3 embellishments. At least this receipe worked a lot better than the ones I attempt that involve food as I'm an awful cook!

Thanks for popping, please leave a comment if you have time.

Exhausted and Awards!

Well I'm exhausted after my 3 days back at work but I have enjoyed it. I think it will make the time I spend with my daughter Grace more special as well. She got on well at nursery but is a little unsettled in the evenings at the moment but I hope that will improve as time goes on. Grace spent today with her Grandma and Granddad as they are having her one day a week and she was very happy by all accounts which is good as it makes leaving her much easier. Thanks to everyone who left words of support I have really appreciated it.

Now on to my awards, I received these awards from some of my lovely blogging friends, thanks so much to

Amy, Gina, Michele and Alison. Thanks so much to all of you for thinking of me.

I would like to pass this on to all the lovely people that visit my blog and always leave me such lovely comments, you all make my day! So thanks to you all.

This week's challenge over at Pollycraft Monday Challenge has been set by the very talented Emma and you have to do some doodling on a card so whether doodling is just your thing or takes you out of your comfort zone why not join in with the challenge! There is a fantastic prise for the winner of 'From The Heart Flourishes' Corner and Heart stamps, just remember to use a Pollycraft element on your card. My design team card features a Woodland Elf stamp called 'Adoration' available from Pollycraft Designs. Well today was a big day for me and my little girl Grace, after 10 months on maternity leave I went back to work today and Grace had her first day at nursery. It was hard leaving her this morning but we both got on ok! I'm only working part-time so I am sure we will both get used to it soon.
